We didn't start playing drums just to practice beats and fills all day. We love jamming along to real music. This package includes 50 fun play-along songs we can use to improve our creativity, groove, and musical abilities.
Do you want to rapidly boost your drumming experience? It's fun to practice new beats and fills, but it's entirely different from playing those patterns along with real music. The Drum Play-Along System was created to give you the opportunity to gain valuable experience - to boost your creativity and confidence as a drummer!
This package includes 50 unique and original drum play-along songs from a variety of musical styles!
Below you will find a detailed list of everything included in the complete Drum Play-Along System. Each component is explained separately, so you know exactly how you will benefit from everything that is included.
It is important to note that ALL material is relevant and recommended to drummers of ALL skill levels. You may only be interested in playing rock music at first, but you'll soon realize how much fun it can be to play folk rock or even Jazz and Latin music. These other styles will boost your creativity to take your overall drumming to a new level.
Hard Rock & Alternative Rock - DVD 01The first component of the Drum Play-Along System includes fifteen unique songs from rock sub-genres, such as: hard rock, alternative rock, progressive rock, punk rock, pop rock, and soft rock! The video footage includes both multi-angle and performance versions of all fifteen songs. The multi-angle view allows you to watch four angles at the same time, so you can study exactly how the drummer is playing the song (as you follow along with the workbook). The performance view allows you to take in the entire experience with alternating shots filling the entire screen.
Pop Rock & Folk Rock - DVD 02The second component of the Drum Play-Along System includes sixteen more songs from rock sub-genres, such as: pop rock, alternative rock, folk rock, blues, and soft rock! As with the first component, the video footage includes both multi-angle and performance versions of all sixteen songs. You can start with the multi-angle view to learn the songs, or jump to the performance view for inspiration from the original drummer!
Latin & Jazz - DVD 03The third component of the Drum Play-Along System moves away from rock to cover nineteen songs from unique world styles, including: jazz swing, Latin, ballads, blues, samba, salsa, jazz shuffle, bebop, naningo, and much more! As with the first components, the video footage includes both multi-angle and performance versions of all nineteen songs. You can start with the multi-angle view to learn the songs, or jump to the performance view for inspiration from the original drummer!
Play-Along Songs w/o Drums - CDs 01-03The Drum Play-Along System audio library includes all fifty songs with the drum tracks removed, so you can play as the drummer. The physical version comes on audio CDs and the online members area features downloadable versions that are compatible with any portable music player that supports the MP3 audio format. This includes iPhones, iPads, iPods, Android phones, and more.
These play-along songs allow you to have a full band practice any time you want, and really allow you to unleash your creativity as a drummer!
Drum Play-Along System - WorkbookThe Drum Play-Along System workbook includes detailed sheet music for all 50 play-along songs! This way you can see the exact beats and fills that the original drummers used the play all the various songs featured in the performance videos.
You will also find biographies for each of the bands that performed songs in this pack, so you can get to know the musicians and learn more about their approaches to creating music!
All together, this workbook includes nearly 100 pages of detailed content that you can follow along with as you watch the videos or listen to the audio CDs.
