Michael Outlaw, the owner and craftsman at Outlaw Drums, was generous enough to send me my very own Outlaw snare drum. I’ve been playing it all day in the studio and I really wanted to make a quick video so you could have a listen! This has quickly become one of my favourite snare drums, and I’m sure you’ll see why. I’ll be using an Evans G1 coated for the batter head and a Hazy 300 for the resonant head.

Using 200 to 600 year old wood, Outlaw Drums creates some of the most unique drums in the business. This snare drum in particular is made using a stave shell. You can check out their website and story by clicking here! Thank you again to Michael for sending this my way!
